From out of the same South Side of Chicago scene that spawned the Art Ensemble of Chicago , Sun Ra's Arkestra and The Pharaohs came the righteous Black Power sounds of Boscoe. "Writing on the Wall" is a defiant spoken word piece that reveals the band's politics and serves as a snapshot of a moment in history.
But this band's horn section could also lay down a righteous groove. Witness "Money Won't Save You" below.
